I see something floating in my syringe, is this normal?

Oftentimes researchers report seeing a ‘black cluster’ in their spore syringe, which can be mistaken for contamination. In fact, this is a common occurrence and the black clusters are spores themselves. It happens when gravity begins pulling the spores together into a clump. Simply give your syringe a good shake to help disperse them throughout your syringe.
